CLAW 24 Terms and Conditions

PERSONAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDANCE

We are following the advice and guidance of the United States Centers for Disease Control and Protection, the Ohio Department of Public Health, and the Cleveland Department of Public Health as we plan for this year’s gathering.

We are encouraging all CLAW attendees to get the Monkeypox vaccination, and to engage in frank conversations with potential play partners about MPV risks factors prior to engaging in intimate activity. As a reminder, the Monkeypox vaccination is a two shot series. Consult with your healthcare provider to ensure that you have completed the full Monkeypox vaccination series.

We will not be checking vaccination status at this year's event.

We are encouraging all CLAW attendees to receive the most current COVID-19 bivalent booster and an annual flu vaccination at least 14 days prior to arrival at CLAW.

Mask wearing is encouraged for those who wish to have an added extra layer of protection.

We ask that individuals who plan on attending a play party consider taking a rapid test at least 24 hours prior to the party, and act accordingly based on the results of that test.

COVID Rapid Tests will be available to CLAW attendees at the Registration Desk.

Each day ofCLAW we ask that you assess your own personal health before attending. If you feel sick, are running a fever, or experiencing other symptoms of illness, we ask that you refrain from attending and take care of your own health so that you may return the following day, or the following year.

We cannot anticipate every possible scenario. We respectfully ask that each person who attends CLAW take everyone's health and well being into consideration so that we can all have a safe, fun, and healthy weekend!

We will do our best to ensure that this year’s event is safe for everyone, but ask for your assistance in helping us achieve that goal.

Please note, these guidelines are subject to change, based on the evolving public health guidance and ground level circumstances.

All attendees of CLAW acknowledge that they are attending a sex-positive event that contains sexually explicit content.

CLAW Event Photography Policy

All of the CLAW events take place in what is considered "Public Domain," so your photo can be taken by anyone and used in any manner the photographer wishes. So be careful as to whom you allow to take your picture.

We respect your privacy, as do the members of the media/press and photographers that we allow to officially take photos at our events. They will have an official CLAW "Photographer" badge (in addition to their regular badge), and the photos they take may be shown on the CLAW (or other) website, be used for future CLAW promotions/advertising, or be placed in a gay/leather publication.

Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility

CLAW is committed to making its events a safe and welcoming environment for all adults (18 years and older). CLAW wants each attendee to understand that diversity and inclusion are active choices and not just passive assumptions. CLAW is a men’s event. CLAW believes that the label men is inclusive of Trans Men. All Male Only play spaces include trans men.

All other spaces are open and welcoming to all people regardless of age, race, gender, gender identity & expression, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, personal beliefs, fetish interests, or religion and those expressing curiosity about the scene in a respectful manner. In order to achieve the reality of inclusion, several concepts must be considered, and several must be actualized.

Inclusion & Diversity Policies and Agreements

CLAW affirms an inclusive, diverse community. We are committed to building inclusive spaces and events. We believe it is our duty to actively work toward greater inclusivity within our communities. Toward that end, we affirm the following policies and commitments and ask that you do the same:

I understand that CLAW must be intentionally inclusive and affirming. All people have inherent worth and the right to choose to participate regardless of perceived or actual personal qualities, orientations, or associations.

CLAW respects and welcomes all persons regardless of color, ethnicity, age, ability, religion, size, class, perceived or actual sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.

CLAW strongly rejects any form of exclusion or marginalizing of people. Racism, classism, sexism, enforced heteronormativity, and ableism are not tolerated. We affirm our commitment to cultivating inclusive people and groups that support all members of the community.

CLAW spaces are safe and consent-based spaces. Unsafe behaviors and words that target or marginalize people including but not limited to racism, sexism, ageism, classism, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, ethnicism, sizeism, ableism and other prejudicial and discriminatory behaviors will not be tolerated.

My attendance and participation supports and affirms inclusion. I understand that if my actions (digital or in-person) are found in violation of the above policy that I will be dismissed from this event without refund for any tickets, meal or add-on fees paid to CLAW Corp or its subsidiaries in regards to this event.
