Bootblacking and Leather care

Friday 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Topic area: Community / Gear

For many of us, leather is a passion an integral part of our soul. We spend a substantial amount of money time and effort in building our personal leather collections and therefore it is extremely important to learn how to care for it. Bootblacking is a basic skill for a leather person; unfortunately, it is a dying art. This workshop is designed to teach how to care for your boots and leather clothing. This is a hands-on approach to basic leather care skills. We will be working on garments, boots, and will discuss toy care. Please bring an item to work on: boots or garment, saddle soap, and polish or grease.
