Gregg Lakota

Gregg Lakota has been active in the leather community for 35 years. In 1989 he co-founded the Rangers, which is celebrating its 30th year and is Ohio's second oldest leather club. Over the years, Gregg has held eleven titles, including Mr. Ohio Leather and Mr. Midwest Drummer. His awards include a Lifetime Achievement Award for Greater Cleveland, a Lifetime Achievement Award for Greater Akron, induction into Akron's Gay Hall of Fame, and two Ohio Leather Cornerstone Awards (one for leadership and the other for community service). Presently he produces the Mr. Cleveland Leather contest, the Mr. Leather Akron contest, and co-produces the GLLA Ohio state leather contests. In 2015 Gregg was interviewed and filmed by the Leather Archives & Museum for its Fireside Chat series. Gregg has been moderating the Leather Club Forum since its inception in 2008.
