Terms and Conditions
Zero Tolerance Content Policy. Submissions must not include any imagery, symbols, text, or themes that promote, glorify, encourage, justify, or normalize hatred, discrimination, harassment, or violence against any identifiable individual or group. CLAW reserves the absolute and sole right to reject, remove, or refuse the display or sale of any artwork that, in its judgment, violates this policy, at any time, with or without notice, and without obligation or liability.
- The Artist warrants that they are the creator of the submitted artwork(s), possess clear and unencumbered title to the work(s), and that all descriptions provided are true and accurate.
- There is no entry or application fee. Artists selected for the exhibition agree to contribute a donation (artwork or gear) to the CLAW 26 Silent Auction.
- Artists will be notified of acceptance no later than March 21, 2025.
- All artwork delivered to CLAW must be in a ready-to-hang condition (e.g., sawtooth hanger or wire). Artwork not ready to hang may be refused and returned at the artist’s expense.
- Artists are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the host hotel in Columbus. If return of unsold artwork is requested, a prepaid return shipping label must be provided (emailed in advance or physically included) by April 16, 2025. Artists may alternatively choose to donate unsold artwork to CLAW, a 501(c)(3) charity; donation receipts are available upon request.
- All media types are acceptable, subject to approval.
- Artist attendance at CLAW is not required.
- By participating, artists agree to have their approved artwork offered for sale during CLAW.
- Artists receive 70% of gross sales; 30% is retained by CLAW to support its charitable mission.
- Only approved works will be accepted. CLAW will not manage, store, or return any unapproved artwork.
- All approved works must be shipped with a return shipping label. CLAW’s preferred carrier is DHL.
- CLAW Corp, its employees, contractors, and volunteers are not financially responsible for loss, theft, or damage to artwork or other property on site or during transit.
- Shipping and vendor insurance is strongly recommended.
- Artists grant CLAW the right to use images of the artwork(s) for promotion and publicity across social media, websites, print materials, and newsletters, without additional approval, credit, or compensation.
- Automatically generated or AI-created images are not permitted in the exhibition.
